Anyone use a short term disability claim for their time off work?

I was going to but not sure since its cosmetic... I really don't want people to know.

Generally Disability Insurance will not cover for elective surgeries.  But check with your employer/insurance company for more details.

You will be glad to have the time off and will need it:)   Rest, go slow and just be a good patient.  The better you behave the first two weeks post op; the quicker you will be back up.   This takes plenty of patience.
