Anyone use a short term disability claim for their time off work?

I was going to but not sure since its cosmetic... I really don't want people to know.

Generally Disability Insurance will not cover for elective surgeries.  But check with your employer/insurance company for more details.

You will be glad to have the time off and will need it:)   Rest, go slow and just be a good patient.  The better you behave the first two weeks post op; the quicker you will be back up.   This takes plenty of patience.

Thanks! I'm reading a lot on here all the time. I will expect everything now, this forum is so helpful. Next Wednesday will be here before I know it.
