Can anyone share their experience with a Tummy Tuck Revision and delayed Scar Treatment?

Hi I went to see my PS yesterday (general follow up appt to tt) and pointed out that my right hip area has more fat and puffiness then the other side. My PS said that we can do a revision to remove the extra fat. It will be done in his office with local ana. He stated that my recovery would not be anything like the full TT. I am scheduled to have it done on July 11, but hoping I can get in sooner. Has anyone had a similar experience and what was your down time? Also he asked me not to start my scar treatment on the incision since I am already 10 weeks out I am concerned that I may not have the best results because at this point it seems I can not start the treatment until Aug. My tt was in March 2012. Your comments would be quite helpful. Thanks

Hey Kimmers, Yes, I did check it.. I read all the stories but not as many had pics and it was only a few.. any other suggestions?

Hi Kimmers, thanks for your suggestion. I was hoping I would get more support from this forum from people who have had the same experience has me in their tt journey. I'm a little disappointed because this is not something I can share with my family.

I learned something , some people are extremely selfish: if you are doing good, "they" get jealous, if you are doing bad "they" get happy to get something to gossip about it and if "they" need help than they expect the hole universe (especially you) to give them everything ( money, time, you know ...... everything) Some ppl are so fortunate to have a good , united fam. and some not. You cannot change ppl. You can only change yourself and keeping secrets from your fam or friends it's quiet challenging. My tongue is "bleeding" from byting when I'm tempting to share my secrets.

Hey zizi! I know what you mean. I chose not to share my TT with family or friends because I did not want to be judged for something I chose to do for me. It's difficult to get support in just normal every day issues so I knew it would not be well received. This procedure or any other I choose is relevant to my happiness not theirs. If I am not doing harm to myself or others, unless I care to share with them, it's none of their business. I hope you are not letting others make you feel badly about having work done. If so don't, it's like you said, some ppl are just haters. And if you have friends that support you, that's wonderful. :) Can't wait for you to create your profile for your up coming TT. I am sure you are going to be fabulous you're already gorgeous!

Yeah, I was looking for more info on Tummy Tuck revisions as well since I am trying to get one but I haven't really seen many stories on here about that myself. Its worrying me but I know they are out there!
