By KristenR. on 21 May 2011

OMG...I am so itchy, and I can't stand it...can we take anything for it, or do we just have to ride it out? Thanks Kristen

Is it your incision that's itchy? If your plastic surgeon's office is open today, you should give them a call and see what they say. Itchiness is so awful! I know Kimmers' loved Palmer's Oil, but not sure if it helped with the itching or not.

It's all over itching...like itching especially around the bruised lipo area...I'm thinking it's healing...it seems worse at night. I'll def. call my Dr. on Monday if it's still bothering me

Here's what a doctor had to say about incision itching. Hope it helps at least a little. There's also a great thread going about itching here. Check the most recent posts.

I had a major reaction to the Palmers Oil.... was itching to the point of insanity! If its dry skin I suggest a mild unscented lotion. My skin was very dry and started to peel all around my incision, I assume from the skin not "breathing" due to the CG. Also, some people feel itchy from nerve growth... Hard to say. If the lotion doesnt help it never hurts to ask the PS if it is bothersome.

Girl! My body itching all over too. Not on the incision but like my legs... back... boobies... everywhere! Did your itching go away yet?

Wisconsin--I wonder if this could be a reaction to your pain meds? Sounds kind of allergic. I'd call your doctor.
