Hey ladies well went to doctors today for comp. Body sculpting of my abdomen and the heated sculpting tool sh was massaging over my scar made one spot start to bleed. The scab just came off yesterday so I guess the skin was too new for the treatment, so we ll try again next week. Has anyone had this treatment before? Does it really help? She said it liquifies any fat left and helps the scar tissue break down, so makes the scar look and heal better.

Well ladies my last week off! Bah humbug! Anyway last night I put some lidocain ointment on my nips they were so sore and today no soreness at all. Thank you lord! I might be able to do my job after all. Hope everyone is doing well, and it truly does get better. I was doubting for a while. So ladies continue to rest and be patient, I'm 6 weeks today, my appt is tomorrow. Good luck, and many blessings!

Just posted some after shots, BOY am i critical of myself. I know it looks a hundred times better but I am already pickin at the hips and thighs. I guess i just wanted my body back the way it was before baby and 20lbs? Ill get there and love it all someday soon. Maybe when the pain goes away. :)

Nicks mom don't be so hard on yourself. You look good for the amount of time after surgery. Plus we shouldn't expect to look like women on tv all perfect and stuff we are real women with real bodies. And if you want to loose more weight wait till after you recover and with some diet and exercise you can get slimmer thighs. I myself would like slimmer thighs but then i'd end up with more loose skin and i don't want that either. I feel the same way when i look in the mirror and all i see is scars and swelling. I'm trying to be patient because my tummy scar is very wrinkled and ropey looking i wonder how will it ever even out and look normal again i havn't seen other pictures of women's tummies looking like mine i'm gonna have to ask my surgeon when i see him this wed. I also am not symetrical on my waist and hips one side seems to be bigger. I'm hoping its swelling and not fat because its pretty noticeable So just give it a little more time like i'm trying to do.

Thanks Belmont I know I'm
Hard on myself but I'm getting better. Kind of funny I really have not
Looked at myself except after I took the picture. Dont know why I just don't. Only took the picture to post because i like to see others post and how there before and after looks. I'm sure when I can stand up straight I spend more time in the mirror and love what I see.:)

2 weeks for me nothing. I am just starting to work around the house at 5 weeks. And still I reached for something in the cabinet yesterday and have excruciating pain pulling pain like something tearing in my hip. So it's a very slow process, take it easy, all the rest of my results are fine, but I didn't do anything for these five weeks. I have no swelling, breast have dropped nicely and are alot softer, and I feel better everyday now.

Felt the same way, it takes time.

Yesterday was my two weeks post op. And i seriously thought i would be feeling more like myself. How much were you ladies able to do around the house at this time. I feel so bad not being able to clean my house and chores around here. And when i do some stuff i end up more hunched and in pain.

So when are we supposed to go through swell hell?
  • Reply
Yes they probably will, but in the long run they'll be asking where did you get it donenand how much did it cost you're going to be looking soooo good. Just give yourself some time. I'm 5 weeks tomorrow and still feel uncomfortable. It takes alot of time.

Glad to hear you had a good time Denise! I'm still a bit swollen and my jeans fit me tighter than before. I gotta say I'm not sure it was worth it yet. One thing that I am very disappointed in is my butt augmentation. I think it's because I've had to be on my butt all this time. It doesn't look any better just swollen but no better shape. I would NOT recommend getting everything done at the same time. Do the butt first then the tt and breast lift.

Well I made it! But boy am I beat. And my lumps hurt. That was the only place I had a small bulge, but no one but me could tell, you know how critical of ourselves we can be. But girls I looked goooood! It's so worth it!
The gown I wore I had to go braless and the girls were perfect, plump and pretty with this new thin waist and flat stomach. Well! I couldn't stay for the reception though, picking up my grandchildren and picture taking was a bit much for the old girl.

Congratulations on your son wedding! Well try to enjoy yourself as much as possible this is a special day. Who cares if you walk a little funny if people ask and you don't want to tell about your surgery do what I did, I told my brother I hurt my back, I didn't want him knowing before I told my mom. Just enjoy yourself Denise. Have a wonderful time!

So how did your discussion with mom go?
  • Reply
Well I was very nervouse to tell her. Which sounds ridiculous because I'm a grown 36 yr old woman! She didn't seem angry just said I was crazy for doing it. Then she went on about all the bad stuff that could of happened to me (she tends to be negative and controlling) which is why I didn't tell her before in the first place. And now I'm kind of sorry I told her because now everyone in my family and my husbands family will know about my surgery.:(

It will get better but its gonna take time. I'm almost 5 weeks out and still not me very uncomfortable, and tired of feeling like this now. But what can I do. My sons getting married today and I'm not that excited because I still walk funny, and don't know if I have a bra to go with my dress, and I started massaging my lumps since that's what I was instructed to do but now it hurts, always something! Have a wonderful weekend, feel better!

started taking my meds for the allergic reaction yesturday and it helped a bit but not as much as I would like maybe I need more time. Ok so I'm 11 days post op and I am getting very impatient and easily irritated. Maybe it also had something to do with pms. I usually get it a week before my period. Anyways I'm tired of being locked up my house and not being able to do normal stuff. Today I decided to gey the house more cleaned up and my 13 year old had a fit because he had to wipe down toilets. I think my husband has had it taking care of the house for once. Dont get me wrong he hasn't complained but I can tell. And today I have to go visit my mom and finally tell her that I had the surgery. I think shes gonna be pretty upset. Well sorry for all the complaining but I had to vent. Just gotta remember " It will get better " just hope it gets better soon! Well hope you ladies are doing better than me :)

That's for sure! No but I remember my doctor specifically asking me about me being alergic to tapes, glues or latex of any kind. And we know aperture make you either swell but always itch. That's why he maybe never had a case this serious but knows what it is. I know when you said you were itching that was my first thought. Because I have the sore skin thing but never had itching. Let's just pray you don't get the sore sunburn feeling skin after when your nerves start to join back together.

Thanks Denise, my doc said he has never had a patient have this kind of reaction so that makes me nervouse. Makes me think what if he doesn't really know what it is? Well hopefully hes right and it's just an allergic reaction. Well it's good that you're having that lump checked out. It's weird because we all have littlr problems with one thing or another.

Sorry to hear of your dillema I'm sure you'll feel better tomorrow. The doctors do know about all our adverse reactions to our surgery. I am having my own problem I have this lump inside near my incision that hurts sometimes late in the day and has my skin kinda bruised right over the lump, at least it looks bruised. I called today they told me it was normal and will go away, but I'll feel better when I go on thebz25 and they actually see and feel it.

Went to see doc about my rash. Its horribly red, swollen and itchy around my breast incisions,tt incision, and lipo incisios. They gave me prescription for steroids. I've taken 2 doses but still hasn't helped. I really hope it's better tomorrow if not i'll have to go to ER since my doc is closed tomorrow. Please pray that I'm better tomorrow, I'm getting a little freaked out that it may be something more seriouse.
