Help with doctor selection

I am an older gentleman 38 and have just decided to go ahead and get nose surgery. I have always wanted to and so now I figure now is the time. However, I read all the reviews and things to look for, look at before and after, even though there is Photoshop, I am in Ohio and would probably drive anywhere for the right surgeon. For someone who is new, what are 3 or 4 main things I should look for? Or if anyone is in Ohio give me some recommendations.

Another RealSelf user asked about Ohio doctors and here is the response they received. Keep in mind that the closer to home you stay, the easier it is to get back after surgery and receive after care.
