Searching for Revision Rhino Surgeon in PA
By Melinda75 on 30 Jan 2012
I need advice on choosing the be rhino revision surgeon. My initial surgery in '10 was done by a well known PS, who was an ENT/PS. I have since had 2 more procedures to correct my finesse rhino; a rasping and an in-office rebreak/reset. The bridge of my nose is still curved to the right. A simple osteotomy was suggest by a local facial PS. I have now moved to Harrisburg, PA and am looking for one in the area. Could I get good results from a gen. PS ? What questions should I be asking a genPS

You definitely want a plastic surgeon who specializes in revision rhinoplasty! It is a really intricate procedure under the best circumstances, and it sounds like you've had a lot of work done already. You want someone who knows what he or she is doing and has a lot of experience with revisions.
Here's a list of questions about rhinoplasty to ask your doctor. I would also add that you should ask how many revisions each doctor has done.
You can find a list of rhinoplasty doctors near you here, but don't be afraid to travel a few hours to find the right surgeon either.
