Should I get my scheduled lipo for my thighs and hips?

By Wowouch on 29 Dec 2010

I am 7 days post-op and feeling like hell! Literally, I feel like I've been hit by a truck when I roll out of bed in the morning. I had my entire torso suctioned and my stomach got it it good. I feel like I got a tummy tuck instead of SmartLipo. I'm scheduled to have my thighs and hips soon.

Personally, if you can handle it physically and emotionally then I think there's an advantage to getting it all done together, or as soon as possible. Otherwise, you might not want to be in that sort of pain again and may want to back out. I would think you'd be feeling better by mid-March, though, so it might be a moot point.

You're probably right. What I didn't mention in my original post(ran out of room) was that I am also getting my neck/jowls and arms as well. What do you think about getting arms done the same time as the thighs. Am I taking on too much at one time? Any experience with multiple lipos at one sitting?

No first-hand experience from me but I've heard others caution about doing multiple areas + arms, because you'll need your arms to help you get around (out of bed, chairs, etc) while the rest of your body is healing. Just a thought.

Not sure this helps or not, but here's another question and doctor responses to liposuction recovery

Thanks! My next procedure is in mid March, really right around the corner. I guess it's hard to want to have another procedure done when I'm in so much discomfort and pain. My doctor said the pain would be likened to a very hard work out and muscle pain. BS!!!
