Scars after smart lipo on legs?

I am considering about going in for smart lipo on the inner/outter thighs, knees, and calfs....but really worried about scars. Can anyone share their experience with scars on their legs? How noticable are they? The whole reason I want to do this is to be able to wear shorts and feel comfortable in a bathing suit... but if everyone can see noticable scars...I'm not sure its worth it. THANKS!! :)
The scars from Smart Lipo are fairly small (subject to how well you heal, of course). Do your scars usually go very dark or light compared to your skin tone?
