Anybody try Scarprin instead of Bio Oil?

By Vivalv66 on 14 Mar 2012

I was doing some research and they say the best thing for healing scars is silicone based products. Scarprin is listed #1. It is 49.95 for 1 oz bottle or $99 for 3 (buy 2 get 1 free). Here is the site I went to       . http://scar-treatments-center.org/#review Bio Oil review was just ok.  When can you start putting products on the scars?

I have not heard of the Scarprin. However my PS recommended a silicone based cream called ScarZone. You get it at Walmart, Walgreens, etc and it was about $10. It has worked well for me. It also has worked well for my son who had a large raised red painful scar on his wrist from a ganglion removal. It had not healed well and we started using that on it and it has made a huge difference. It is still visible, but it is no longer raised or bright red. He is very happy with the results he got from it as well. I started using the ScarZone at about 4 weeks. The incisions were healed and there were no more scabs etc. Good luck!
