scar treatments

I'm scheduled for surgery 9/27 and I'm doing everything I can not think about it, but I'm going nuts with anticipation and excitement! So my question is, for those of you who have had surgery already, what kind of scar treatments are you using? I haven't spoken to my PS about this at all, so I'm not sure what PS usually recommend. Any thoughts on this?
I had my BR surgery 8/6. I was so excited and nervous!!! The scar treatment I've been using it cocoa butter, it seems to work well. Although I am itchy at random times because my scar are healing. I also heard vit. E oil (Palmer's) works well also! Hope that helps!
