How to get rid of upper lip hyperpigmentation?

I have hyperpigmentation on my upperlip. My dermatologist said 20% of the dark spots the a deep layer of my upperlip is untreatable but the good news is 80% is... he prescribed Ikelene Serum (mornings on the brown spots) and Dermaclear Accuracy (evening on the brown spots) ...massage evenly, stay clear of sun, use a strong sunblock such as Eucerin 50 SPF and repeat this routine for 2 months you will see radical changes :) Hope my answer helps. I'm not a professional, but I'm a victim of this embarrassing disease and his advice really helped :) I suggest you see a dermatologist first but if you can't afford a good one, take my advice!
