Getting rid of scars???

so i have been a self harmer for almost 5 years now, and i have recently tried to stop. i have not harmed for almost a month now. i am doing SSOOOO much better. the scars look better than they did a month ago, but i want them to go away more. i have scars on both arms and both upper thighs. they are really pink and and some have even faded to white. they actually look pretty good. some of them are round from burns with matches. a few are raised, and none of them are open wounds. what are your suggestions on getting rid of them either quickly or over time. i have patience and im persistent so time doesnt matter too much. thanks in advance :)
