Considering doing a Rhinoplasty and any advice would be appreciated!

Hello everyone! I'm new to the board but have been reading on RealSelf for awhile now. I've been wanting a Rhinoplasty since I was about 18 and I'm 23 now. I always had a bad profile but I didn't notice it as much as I do now. I guess it took one or two unflattering pictures from my boyfriend to really make me notice. Anyway, I'm really hoping I can get it done in December as my only times off from college are the summer and winter break. I should have the money saved up by then. I have the money now but don't want to completely drain my account. lol What do you all think of winter Rhinoplasties? Is it better or worse than summer? I'm going to call in the next couple of days to make a few consultations with different facial plastic surgeons. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Depends where u live and how much you are outdoors. Pick the time of year based on when you can be outdoors the least--if you don't do summer classes and can go without working, do th summer an maybe stay home for 2-3 months. I did it in spring so I had freezing cold weather and 100 degree heat now! I can't do anything no beach, no BBq, etc but it's worth it for me!! :))
Thanks for the advice Angie! I'm hoping on Monday to call two surgeons, Dr. Trimas and Dr. Pearson. I've read good reviews on here about both so far. I'm definitely in the early stages of my research but I'm getting really excited already. I feel slightly selfish for wanting this and know I could put the money to better use. However, it's something I really want. I don't hate my nose and I don't expect perfection, but I know it could be better. I just hope I don't make it worse. lol. I'll try to add some pictures to show my profile so you all can see and tell me what you think (if I can figure out how to do it). A little off topic but how do I update my post instead of just posting in the comments section? I'm not so good with computers. Thanks again!

Thanks for your post!

I thought a summer rhinoplasty was a little brutal with the heat, winter sounds like a great idea!
