There are limitations in revision rhinoplasty depending on skin thickness and scar tissue - sorry for your experience but 90 percent of Sam Rizk 'a patients for revision rhinoplasty are happy- he has extensive experience with cartilage grafts , ethnic noses , implants and ear and banked rib cartilage and has an superb aesthetic sense but yet still not every patient is happy. Unhappy patients tend to go on these sites but happy ones usually don't write reviews as they Are happy. Be careful who you choose for revision - not all revisions are successful no matter who you choose - Rizk has 17 years experience With revisions - ask your surgeon you choose how many years has he been practicing and ask to speak to patients . Good luck

my experience was not good he mess up my nose i think he is not enough qualified for revisions be carefull and he will make you broke your bank account because is very very expensive for me he just add a graft on my sidewall from my nose and straight my septun i had a little deviation on my septum he charged me almost $30 000 others top doctors really top like cochram in tx for a full grafting nose augmentation he will charge that price i do not trust in rizk is a really risk

irina in atlanta, did you have another nose procedure (with another surgeon) before one year after Dr. Rizk operated on your nose as Lh0221 alleges?

HA! Isnt this site supposed to be reserved for patients/ prospective patients and not for more self promotion ('superb aesthetic sense')???

Dr Rizk only does procedures that is clearly consented for - clearly we cannot comment on the specific patients above due to privacy policies which leaves physicians unable to defend themselves online. Also when a patient has had a nose drastically scooped from previous surgery and clearly complains of that scoop - adding cartilage is the only option - dr Rizk has a keen aesthetic sense and maybe if above patient had waited a full year for dr Rizk's surgery to heal instead of going to her original surgeon and undergoing another procedure she would be happier

Directly after the surgery, I overheard some friends gossiping about me. Two friends who knew me while I had my first nose job were agreeing that I was stunningly beautiful. When one of their male friends who had just met me directly after the revision interjected, stating that he found me totally unattractive and avatar-like, I realized that Rizk had made the nose way too big for my face and immediately went back to my first plastic surgeon three months later. Perhaps this was a mistake on my behalf. Maybe if it healed properly it would've turned out okay. But I highly doubt it being that he completely altered the structure of my face.

Also, directly after the revision with Rizk, I had to spend a summer in the Hamptons meeting the family of the guy I was dating. The heavy addition of added cartilage made me feel completely uncomfortable with myself. It was as if I were a new person, and I resented the image that stared back at me in the mirror, not to mention throwing down 15k of my parents' money that easily could've been saved

Starrynight316, Do you have another surgeon in mind for your second revision?

Kassir, Jacono, Kenneth B Hughes. I would like to know which surgeon did Connie Selleca's nose. My aunt was friends with her in high school and trust me, she was no great beauty before the nose job. But that's how small I envision my nose being. Do you know any plastic surgeons who care less about preserving the ethnic structure of the nose and more about facial harmony? I want my face to be the embodiment of the golden ratio and right now it's falling flat.

No, I am looking for such a surgeon for myself.

Why is finding a capable surgeon such an impossible feat? I would really like to find out who is the best best surgeon who can give me the results I yearn, a small Brooke Shields nose. Browsing through Cobrasnake photos, where every girl photographed has divinely proportioned faces which clearly have been worked on, makes me think Beverly Hills is the only place to find a surgeon who really knows what they're doing. Sam Rizk prides himself on being the nose expert, but after the trainwreck nose job he performed on me, I really don't think he has any concept of the aesthetics of 21st century beauty and doesn't take each individual patients needs into consideration. He should've known that a nose with too much cartilage would look undesirable on a face that is as delicate as mine. How do you find out who is the best? I don't know where to look. This is a very frustrating process. I really thought Jacono was the one who could salvage my face but he got too many horrible reviews that make me ambivalent. Where can I find a surgeon who understands aesthetics and holds a medical degree from either Harvard or Columbia?

I would not consider Jacono! He is incompetent. Look at his reviews. There are others as well who have not posted. He has no skills, doesn't listen. You will regret it!

What about Dr Jay Calvert?

DR. MARC MANI(beverly hills) is a Harvard graduate. Another good name is Dr. Jason diamond.Although I don't think he went to Harvard. I hope things work out for you "starrrynight316"

I would otherwise be neutral about it, but I posted pictures of the before and afters and many plastic surgeons agree he made it too big for my face

Ok it does appear a slight bulbous . How long ago was your surgery? Also you never told us what he did.. Did you get cartilage put in? Alloderm? Ear cartilage? Etc?

It was 3 years ago so it should've healed by now. He added ear cartilage. I thought he was going to make the tip less droopy and make me look like a spitting image of Leighton Meester. Never would I have thought a second nose job would compromise my appearance and deem me hopelessly unattractive to my male counterparts.
