I am considering Dr. Sam Rizk for a rhinoplasty revision.  I would love to hear from anyone who had revision with him.

Just so everyone is aware: the site RateMD's.com is fake. I have tried MANY times to post a comment (I even tried different names etc.) and it has never let me post anything. ALL the ratings/ comments on that site are done either by employees of the doctors or companies hired to hype them up/ promote their image.

Oh yeah dila is súper rude

She is in a money market..what's your experience?

Dila does tend to be very rude at times, but I'm not sure you should allow her attitude to influence your decision on having Dr. Rizk as your plastic surgeon. Her attitude does not reflect on his work. I do agree he is very pricey now and this was not the case when I had surgery with him 4 years ago.

I had my 4th revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Rizk exactly 4 years ago. He explained to me that the procedure would be complicated because of the thickness of my skin. Due to the 3 prior surgeries, I had a significant amount of scar tissue. Dr. Rizk has allowed me to return every 6-8 months for kenalog/5-FU injections which can help reduce the swelling (which I feel does help). If anyone would like to view before and after pictures, please post your email addresses and I will be happy to send pictures. Although not perfect, I do feel that my nose has improved tremendously. Plastic surgeons cannot work magic, they can only do the best they can given the many factors involved in complex surgeries.

No, I had my primary rhinoplasty in Latin America. Huge mistake.

No, my primary rhinoplasty was done in Latin America. It was a huge mistake.

I had two rhinoplasties done in Latin America, 1 with Dr. Barek in Long Island and my last was with Dr. Rizk. Dr. Barek was also great but very conservative.

I currently have medpore in my nose in order to lengthen it. The reason why Dr. Rizk suggested that it be lengthened is because of the thickness of my skin. If he made it shorter, it would only appear more bulbous.

What do you think of Dr RizK work ?

How was the healing processes ?

Not that great. It has been exactly 3.5 years and I still return to Dr. Rizk for kenalog and 5-FU injections- they're supposed to reduce the scar tissue that has formed underneath the skin. However, my nose is so much better than it used to be. The healing process will depend entirely on your skin type and whether scar tissue forms under the surface of it. Since I have very thick skin, my healing process has always been pretty tricky.

I think he did an incredible job and he has been very supportive of me. When I've gone to visit him (many many times already), he spends as much time with me as I need and he always answers my questions/addresses my needs.

Since Dr Rizk is very expensive is his price worth it?
