Revision With Dr. Sam Rizk.

Has anybody under went recent surgery with Dr. Rizk recently. Would like to share any thing.

Coming from someone who had a primary with a Dr. that had a great bedside manner, and little talent, as it turned out, I would keep in mind that the ultimate goal is a nose that allows you to breathe well and looks aesthetically pleasing. Also, even a great bedside manner does not mean they will redo any mistakes they made without charging you once again. And if they can't get it right the first time I worry about the possibility of being able to do it a second.

I had a primary with him in August 2012. I agree with misslila. I can say that Dr. Rizk did a fantastic job on my nose but at the same time his bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. I would say he spent a total of less than 10 minutes with me, including preop and postop. That is ridiculous for the amount of money that i spent. The trust factor is important when it comes to surgery and i think a patient doctor relationship has to be built for the patient to feel comfortable, especially for such major surgery. He honestly did not give me that comfort level at all. So bottom line, great results, horrible bedside manner. If you have any questions you can pm me.

He just charges what he feels like, which might mean that he's a very unstable person/professional and he just likes to do what he wants (even when the patient needs something else). Honestly, I wouldn't ever trust a professional like that. When a doctor seems to have very changeable moral and ethics, I believe it's better to stay away from him.

Those outrageous quotes translate into "I really don't want to fix Ure nose nor can I unless u make it worth my while"

I've been quoted 50.000 US dollars for a 2nd revision,... I'm not botched at all... Is such an overprice worthwhile?

Hi everyone.. I've been receiving many inquires about my results. I don't want to discourage anyone from proceeding with their revision rhinoplasty. Everyone is different and results can be different for anyone/everyone depending on what ethnicity you are and the type of nose you have. So for the record. I had my rhinoplasty done with Dr. Rizk. I did explain my expectations and the reason to proceed with my surgery. He did explain what he can do for me. So I felt we would deliver. However, I have to be HONEST!! My nose doesn't look worse BUT it doesn't look any better.. In my opinion it looks the Same. So if I spent $18,000 for a revision with him. I would expect better results or maybe my expectations are too high. I guess even nostrils and being able to breathe and have a better looking esthetics nose was too much to expect!! It's been 2 months & 2 weeks after my surgery some swelling most definite. But the uneven nostrils are not going to change and nose still has some deformity. Now I'm suppose to see Dr. Rizk in December for a post op. I feel what's the point.?? What is he going to say to make feel better. Will it change the outcome NO!! ?? I have reviewed his Post op pictures and some before pictures look worst than mine. This is why I felt confident he would deliver. NOW he didn't make it worse I wanna make that clear!! But he didn't make it better. As for the pictures, I would have loved to post them but frankly it's a little embarrassing. And if anyone in his staff or Dr. Risk himself review this BLOG I don't want him knowing who this is. Would any of you?? Alexa

LDNgirl.. It will be one month this Thursday. & I have to honestly say I don't see a difference from went I went in.. Seemed different a week after surgery. Now back to what I started with.. I have to say I'm very disappointed!!!! Maybe I have one of those noses that is unpredictable!! Who the hell knows. But to pay 18,000 & look the same & have same issues will be disappointing to anyone!!
