Hi Everyone! Its been over 2 yrs. since my TT and I am so happy with the results to this day! I'm so glad I had the surgery, it was so worth it! I just had a robotic hysterectomy and it went well! It did not interfere with the tt results. I can barely see my scar from the tt and its so low it never mattered! I have really felt so much better about myself! I would say for anyone who is thinking about getting a tt to go for it! It's so worth it!!! Do it for yourself..you are worth it!!!

Hello all! So I had a full TT in 2011. Results were great. Since than I have actually had a baby! I had a very happy and very healthy 9lb, 3oz baby boy in April, 2013. Despite putting on 47lbs! (yikes) it all went well. My tummy tuck is mostly intact, although not as tight. I am currently 10lbs above pre baby weight and TT weight so I am working hard on getting down to 130lbs. I am also starting at home micro needling and retinol A for my left over (and yes...some new) stretch marks. If micro needling doesn't work I will go for the CO2 fractional laser. Hope everyone is doing well! Even with the pregnancy I would defiantly do it again!

It's been a year and a half now since my TT. So far so good. Still a slight bit of numbness but I am doing great and have no regrets. Belly button looks wonderful, as I was worried about that immediately after surgery. Scar has also healed well. :)

Today is my 1 year anniversary!! I absolutely love my results. I feel like it looks better and better all the time. about 6 months in, my BB was off center, it freaked me out quite a bit, but now it is centered perfectly. I gained about 5 pounds after surgery, but have worked it off and am almost as fit as prior to my surgery. The pain was short in duration and not nearly as severe as I had anticipated. I think it really helped to be physically fit and at goal weight, I'd do it again in a heart beat!

I did not know about this reunion forum, way cool. I was messaging one of my TT pals from the July 2012 group lamenting there isn't such a forum for guys, regardless the experience was all the same: fabulous.   I just re-read your review recalling the "bond" us July 2012 Tummy Tucker's had through the experience. yesterday I finished what I started with posterior belt lipectomy (butt lift) and gynecomastia reduction (male chest). my flat belly is fantastic. I have almost 6 pack abs now, not bad for a 53 y.o. Recovering alcoholic. there still aren't many men in these parts though.

I had my TT done 3 years ago and my revision 2 years ago. I could not be more happy with my results. I have even lost 15 pounds since the TT and look even better. I do not regret one dollar nor one bit of pain for the confidence that it has given me. I only wish I had the surgery sooner. :D

congrats on losing another 15 since then!

I had my TT done - gosh, has it been 3 years now?? I am soooo glad I had it done and would do it again in a heartbeat. There are a couple of things that I knew about before hand that I am a little frustrated over (larger mons and the hair there) but overall I am so pleased. In Bangkok now to have my facelift done (tomorrow - Sept 30th, 2013) same doc, same place. :-)

I had my TT almost 2 years ago now. I was thrilled with the result but somewhat ruined it by gaining weight. I went through a stressful period and didn't exercise for awhile. A portion of my upper abdomen is bulging now and I definitely have my upper roll back. I don't regret it for a minute though. my lower abdomen is still flat and I'm so much more comfortable and confident in my clothes. Kudos to all the ladies that maintained long after surgery. You have more will power than I do.

Hello ekate,

I would say that maintaining is the hard part after this process.  It's a daily battle with the diet and exercise.  It's great to hear from you.

Hiya Kimmers! I had my TT done July 17th, 2012! Its definitely been a long road but I am very thankful I was able to get it done. My scar is actually fading very nicely and I am in total agreement with NewSelfNC regarding the maintenance. OMGeee!!! There is VERY little room for error! One thing is for sure; if you weren't motivated to keep on an exercise and healthy eating routine before your TT...you definitely get on one very quickly after. I thought I was having pouching and dog ear probs but it turns out it was because I had gained a few pounds after my surgery. Once I was able to exercise more frequently and rigorously...the pouching and dog ear went away. I now have that line down the middle of my tummy that I have never had before and its so sexy! I will be getting a tattoo soon to cover up the scar and some stretch marks that got away....lol. I will post pics once I get it all done. After a year and 2 months....I am SUPER excited about my decision. Thank you to Dr Peterson, and his staff, on Oahu for putting up with me, taking care of me before and after, and giving me great results! And it so good to hear everyone's stories! I have not been on here in a while and I have missed it. =)

Hey Girlie!!!   Oh yes the upkeep is an entire new ball game!   The diet and exercise is the total key to this process.  Great job getting back on task!  I am glad to hear you are so happy and loving life now.

I definitely want to see the pics when you get the tats:)

Thank you for checking in with us.

I had mines july 2010 I am still happy with my results! My tummy is still flat. My only regret is I wish I would of got my TT after I lost all of my weight!!

do you think your results would have been different if you waited and did your tummy tuck after losing weight? Im schedule for may and Im now working to loose as much weight as possible.

I would wait till I am at a weight I can maintain. If you lose a lot you might get saggy again. If you gain you get tight and uncomfortable. I am not at my goal but I may never get there I work to maintain my lose. I am super happy with my TT, breast lift, and arm lift. Let me know if I can help. How far are you from goal weight?

Hi, and no i did not lose really anything before. Only because I did not want to gain it all back after, which is most likely to have happen. I was fine with my weight even though i was over weight. My want was to lose all the skin and the fat that was attached to it. When fat is not attached to the muscle anymore you will never lose it. I still look in the mirror and love what i see! good luck to you and just know the pain will go away but healing takes time.

Ok, I am going to go ahead and post my review! My tt was November 19, 2012, so I am 9-10 months post op. My stomach looks great and I have zero regrets! I will say, though, that a totally flat tummy fives you no room for error. A little bit of bloating or constipation completely alters the appearance of your torso once the excess skin and fat was gone. I don't know if I was ready for the extreme level of maintenance that a flat belly requires! ;-)

Do any of you ladies have pictures of your scar now? I would love to see what it looks like at 2 and 3 years plus! No one posts pictures on here after one year :-(
