The results are immediate, in that the fat is already in there. What will change over the next several months is the swelling and fat resorption, which may make your results change for better or worse. When did you have BBL done?

Just had mine done 6 days ago and results were immediate. Doctor said the final result will be pretty noticable after about 1 month when most of the swelling goes away and what stays after the 3 month mark is what I will keep.

I had mine done in Orlando on 2/24/11 and although I am hoping for the best, at this point I am very, very disappointed with my results. I still have a bottom that lacks roundness and is generally flat. I have a more hourglass figure and a flatter stomach but the feminine shape I had hoped for is just not there. I am healing up very fast with virtually no bruising left and just some mild soreness. I feel like I could go back to work ( my job of patient care can be performed in standing) but there is no light duty allowed at my job and I am not allowed to lift more than 5 lbs for 4 weeks per MD restriction (to maximize my outcome).
I am sad that I have paid so much, missed work, endured the pain and inconvenience ( I am being VERY careful not to sit or lie on my fanny) and I still do not see significant projection or roundness.
I am hoping for the best.

How much did you pay? How many CCs did you get removed and how many CCs put in each cheek?

I paid close to $10,000. I don't know the cc's. How many cc's did you get put in?

I had 1000 CCs in each cheek. He lipo'd 7 lbs which is about the same as 3250 CCs.

Hi Eastflorida. I am experiencing the same exact thing, I couldn't describe what I am going through better than you.

I had my BBL on March 24, 2011 this Thursday will mark my 6th week post op. Before I got the surgery I was very square and no butt at all. After surgery I did see immediate results, the hour glass shape, flatter stomach and a "shelf" however, the bottom of my butt lacks roundness (bubble part) my doc did give me hips and when I turn sidesways a certain way it looks like I have a bubble butt, but when you see me from behind, it's flatter on the bottom. I took off from work a week and a half so I didn't sit for that time. My job requires me to sit, I am a secretary. I sat putting pressure behind my thighs and lifted my butt. I got up every hour or so and walked around. I am still a bit sore, didn't bruise that much and never took any pain meds.

I am hoping that by the end of next month or the third month that my butt will drop and get rounder, at least this is what i have heard and read on some of the people's posts on here.

Please keep me updated on your progress.

Hi, 3tweety1, I had Dr. Armando Soto. Just came back from a follow-up visit. He never mentioned the cc's. He had said at one of my pre-op visits that part of this was to trust your doctor to be an artist in reshaping your body.
Just prior to surgery as he was marking me, he asked if I wanted "as large as possible" and I hesitated. This sounded a little open ended. He then said how about "round and shapely" and that is what I chose. My butt now comes out of my back at a nice angle but the angle drops off and there is a flat area on both cheeks. I have been told to wait one month before assessing outcome because I am still too swollen. So I am trying to not feel too disappointed. It is hard because I can't imagine how this area will fill in to make a smooth round, not angular contour. I figured a round butt of any size was just a standard outcome. This is what I really wanted in the first place because my butt was odd-looking. So I go back in two weeks.

WOW! i HAD MY BBL ON 3/8/11 AND MY BUTT LOOKS EXACTLY HOW U DESCRIBED IT. IT COMES OUT WITH A CURVE THAN DROPS ON THE CHEEKS :-(

I HAD 600CC MINI TUMMY TUCK LIPO THIGHS, STOMACH, BACK N FLANKS PD 7,000 CASH I'M PISSED. HAVEN'T SAT ON BUTT AT ALL.

Sorry to hear this. I have the same problem! It's really sad because in some ways it didn't look as funny when the butt didn't curve out from my back the way it does now after surgery. It looks more odd now - like a path to nowhere, if you know what I mean. When the whole thing was flat, it was just a flat butt. Now I have a stop sign (octagonal) thing going. I am trying not to think about it until my visit next week to the MD. Who did your surgery?

Wow ok! I hope it all works out girl and try not to sit at all...you're rite tho I wonder how if its flat how will it reshape itself? I wonder why he didnt mention any ccs though...I hear he is good though...was he confident that it will all work out? did he take his time and explain why it came out like this though? What was his explanation? Did you like him overall?

Trust me, you couldn't pay me to sit down now. I am sticking to it. I am doing my part to assure a good outcome. Dr. Soto's before and after photos are great and I see posts from other people who say they are having good results almost immediately. Today he said that I am still too swollen to tell what my outcome really is. He also said something to the effect of it being difficult sometimes to get a certain shape depending on your original body contour. But I guess the first step is to wait the 4 weeks to allow swelling to go down.
I admit I am upset about this. I don't want be to but the thought that I might still have a butt with angles instead of roundness when viewed from the side after going through all this is just shocking to me. I have had this problem all my life. I NEVER wear anything stretchy or my shirts tucked in because of my flat butt. I always have to look at the back of my clothes when I go shopping and I have endured A LOT of teasing even just recently about this. I have to wear padded panties now to fill out my clothes and it would be a shame to still have to depend on those for roundness after having spent $10,000. That's why I originally posted the question I did - how long does it take to see results - because there might be someone else out there who was angular at first and rounded out later. Have you seen any posts from anyone who had this experience?

Wow...I'm so sorry that you have endured this...and I haven't come across anything on the sure about angular results. However i did read 2 posts that stated that there were no results seen after having procedure though....these posts are not under his reviews but they are under bbl reviews and he performed them though...I guess everyones body is different even with a good surgeon, this procedure has a lot of variables to it....I've only seen 2 outcomes from him that women have shared with me and they looked good, hopefully it was really them though....but I know of someone who had a tt with him and they are happy with the results thus far...I hope all works out for you, from what I've read results are usually seen immediately...I've been chatting with SSN on this forum, and she just had her surgery done not too long ago and she looks.good even through her garment...maybe you can ask her some questions being that she had it done...I was thinking about doing it but I don't think I will, its just too much to think about...there are different things you can do to build a bigger rounder perkier booty thru hard work and exercise girl, you can pm and I can give you some sites....girl I so wish you the best...

If anyone out there has had the experience of having their butt fill out in the several months after surgery I would love to hear from you! I could use the encouragement. For now I am going to try to stay hopeful that my butt will grow and fill out. :) Gotta go, my elbows and knees are killing me. They really take a beating when you can't sit! Lol!
