How can I remove Aquamid?

I had a very bad infection after I had Aquamid in my cheeks, but now it seems better; the only thing is, it is very firm, almost like a stone. How can I break it down? The Aquamid company says not to use steroids because it can get worse, just the antibiotics, but it doesn't work. How and where can I get Aquamid removed from my cheeks? Please, I need answers.

ANY NEWS ABOUT REMOVING AQUAMID PLEASE???? I REALLY WANT TO REMOVE THIS NODULE FROM MY CHEEKS,I AM IN ANTIBIOTICS FOR A LONG TIME I CANT HANDLE IT NO MORE...AQUAMID IS A REAL POISON!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i had no choice because of the infection so i had surgery to try to remove as much as they could otherwise i would not have it removed...I have a little scar in my cheek but in the future i will fix it :)

Hi Joanna.Whe you say yo had aquamid removed how was it done? Was it a cut and then aquamid came out? Im confused because no doctor seems to know how to remove some on one of my cheeks.I really hope you answer me on this one because your experience can help me alot.Regards.Nick

Omg , It`s been 10 days since i woke up swollen,I had bio alclamid& aquamid in the jaw and temples, I have been on augmentin 500 2x day. My dr said it`s an imflammtory response but it has not gotten much better. It is not red or hot or tender.He took 4 cultures and did 4 minor drainings.cultures came back neg.But iam still swollen not with my eye shut, i can send u a pic. my dr was dr white. who was urs?R u ok by now?Anyway i will have to wear a drain for a few days to get the imflamation down.please let me know how you r and any advise would help thx

I have injected aquamid 6 years ago after 3 years i have infection, I am on antibiotic right now i want to ask can any doctors remove aquamid from my lips beacause if I cant remove that I will kill myself,please help me

Hi Joanna,
I have had Aquamid injected in 2003 but it was injected in the outer layers of the skin, as time went by my skin started to peel badly and now a few lumps are so obvious that I would go to great length to have it removed. Naturally I wish for as little scarring as possible, so if you or any other, can recomend a doctor who can remove it I would like to hear about it. It is by far the worst decision I have made in my life having aquamid injected into my cheeks, I hope there is options to remove it as I now know, despite what the doctor told me, that it will not dissapear after 10 years.
