what are some things i can do to reduce swelling

I had my TT and lipo of flanks on 3/3/14. I just needed some tips and advice on this swelling. Oh my I messed up and drunk a diet soda. I don't know what I was thinking. Well I wasn't, but I really need some tips

I am 4 months and still have swelling issues. It gets better...and the compression DOES help a lot. Wear it non stop 4 - 6 weeks and then once out of it if you are going to excercise or will be super active throw it on.
Thanks so much flowerbell. This has been a journey. I'm ready for this swelling to go away at least most of it. When did you have yours if I may ask?
I had swelling for the first 3 weeks and it mostly went away after that. I have been very lucky in that I didn't really get any swelling.
You need to keep your compression garment on 24/7 for the first 4 - 8 weeks. I think that after 4 weeks you can probably just wear it during the day or during exercise. You need to drink lots of water and have a low salt diet. Also gentle exercise - walking only for the first few weeks.
