Red blotches after liposuction

Hi I had liposuction a week a go and right away I had red blotches on one of my inner thighs. Thoughts? Anyone else experience this? Does it go away? Thanks

You may also want to try posting in the Doctor Q&A Forum for some professional opinions. If you're able to take pictures (even on a camera phone) that will really help them answer.

Sorry...to answer your question...I haven't had much drainage but what I did have was fine.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures - it looks kind of like a port wine stain but not as dark red. My dr wasn't sure and said it may be an irritation from the compression garment, which it could be, but I don't have the problem anywhere else. In googling the issue I saw someone else posted the same problem on this site but didn't receive any responses. So I thought I would try again.

Do you have any pictures? It could be related to swelling/fluid retention. Has your drainage been going okay?
