Maybe you could tattoo a lighter color over the dark to blend it or change the shape

Dr. Kasden makes it sound like a 'touchup' is an easy solution, but it is only going to leave you with a compromise and it may leave you with just more to get lasered off in the end. If the tattooed eyebrows are in the wrong place, then they're in the wrong place.

that wouldn't work because the dark will take over the light color.. you have to put a remover chemical in there.

When your eyebrows are first tattooed, they are much darker in appearance than how they will look once healed. Likely your artist told you this but many times clients are swayed by the words of their friends and relatives and suddenly doubt what was told to them by the artist. I am sure now that you have healed and likely have already had a follow up visit that the brows are to your satisfaction.

Hi I had them done in June and I'm finally learning to accept them. They will get lighter, trust me don't do anything. If they are not even use a powder brush to make them look more natural. I am an actress, and i work on tv and i said omg what have I done. Tatooed eyebrows look tacky, but my girlfriend in PR had a salon and she talked me into it cause I'm getting older and was losing my arch. I wish my Spanish sisters wouldn't go that way. Learn to do your own eyebrows. Go to a makeup counter and ask them how to do your brows. If you don't get a good job U will regret it like I did. Luckily I powder them and try to lighten them, it works. Besides look at Shakira, Oprah and the movie stars the style for eyebrows is going lighter. Tatoos make us look like Groucho Marx.

For bad eyebrow tattooing, there is also the glycogel option, this can be done one of two ways. 1. Have the eyebrow tattoo treated again with dry needle and then have glycogel applied, this can be done several times after a healing is complete, 2. Have the eyebrow tattoo implanted with glycogel like the way the brow is first semi permanently tattooed, this is simply glycogel implanted to remove the inks, this is also explained on an australian website, i am a permanent makeup practitioner and I shall be trying this method on myself very soon, as my brows are actually too dark now and too big (were done previously by someone else) so. For anyone interested I will give you a step by step account of just how effective this procedure is with complete honestly.

Hi SY214... I shall be doing the procedure on myself tomorrow 4 Jan, so I will give the step by stepo account when first treatment carried out, hopefully this will help others and I can explain how effective this glycogel permanent eyebrow removal procedure is, I shall be using the 2. Method of implanting glycogel instead of pigment, done the same way as when pigment is implanted.. I will update you later this week, I am hoping it will be very effective, I as a micropimentation practitioner wish to remove my own tattooed brows which were done years ago by someone else before I qualified, I had retouched accordingly, but they were always on the too dark side and large side.. so we will have to wait and see, I feel the best way is for me to try and perfect on myself and share with anyone else considering this option, their are many unhappy people out there who I know regret the procedure sometimes.. if I can help by sharing this I will be happy in doing so.

Update on glycogel permanent eyebow removal. As a Micropigmentation Practitioner I tried this removal procedure on myseld today, 8 Jan 2012, (this procedure is NOT for permanent eyeliner removal due to being glycogel acid) I was quite amazed, I numbed the brows, and implanted glycogel into the too large, too dark brows, previously done by someone else, the procedure is stingy due to the acid, it did bleed more than having pigment implanted, but that is expected, after first pass I could see the brown previously implanted pigment ooze out to the surface in the blood, I was quite amazed and when gently swabbed away, there was alot of brown pigment on my sawabs, the then gently put a small layer of glycogel on surface with a Q.tip and again more old pigment came to surface, and I wiped away, I then placed more anesthetic on brow waited and made a very gentle second pass with glycogel, again more old pigment came to surface, I do not want to overwork the area first treatment, so ended.. I can see that alot of pigment has come out, brows are abit stingy and red, but can be bathed, I will update in a few days of the result after first treatment, its hard to say at present how mant treatments will be required, but already I have seen alot of pigment come out and alot of fading, so pleased with first procedure.

Hi Myladylana, thanks for your interest, I will certainly keep you posted, hope you excused my slight spelling errors, I did not check.... I will just mention its been about 12 hours now post procedure, its been abit stingy, but not as much as I thought, all is dry, its darkening now due to the drying and scabbing to come, will update of post first treatment result in a few days.. ajay

great, thank you

Update after first treatment.
Please see above posts first.
One brow was 50% lighter, other more 60% lighter, one area of one brow the pigment had all come out, as my healing is normally quick and have no problems, today I have done my second treatment, again, its a very stingy process, it bleeds much more than having your brows pigmented, but this is normal and good as when the area bleeds the pigment comes out, again I could see the pigment that had bled out with the implanted glycogel and alot more pigment was wiped away, so this has to be good, my original pigments that I am removing were first done early 2009 and have had many top ups, so there are a few layers of pigment to come out. My brows after second tratment are very stingy but this settles the next day, they are very red, and will look scabby for several days, but its all worth it if you want your permanent eyebrow pigments removed without laser..
Again this is only eyebrow I am discussing with glycogel.. I am unable to dictate how many treatments I will have to do for complete removal at this stage, but I will keep you posted.
Please remember what works for me may not work as quick for others . We are all different..
