Recommend a plastic surgeon in the NYC (and surrounding areas) for a facelift

My mother and I had our consultations at the same time with Jacono. He told her he wanted to do a vertical facelift on her. He grabbed her skin and pulled it upward and said, "Look at all the skin I can get by doing this." I can do the same thing to my eleven year old daughter and get just as much skin. He also told my mother she needed a brow lift. I accompanied her to consult with other plastic surgeons, they said your face falls on a rotational axis and the skin cannot be lifted vertically. The outcome would never be aesthetically pleasing. Apparently, Jacono uses the same technique over and over knowing that the outcome causes asymmetry and other problems, yet he continues to practice this way. One surgeon told my mother she doesn't need a brow lift and he wouldn't do it for her. She never wanted a brow lift to begin with, but Jacono told her she needed it. My mother is a very lucky person that I went first. She saw first hand the devastation that I endured. My mother didn't like the outcome of my surgery. She said I looked different and not for the better. That's what asymmetry, scarring, and "frying pan" eyes can do. It changes the way you look and not for the better. The best thing that happened through my horrific ordeal is that I saved my mother from the hands of Jacono. She is very grateful and lucky that I went first.

I highly recommend anyone and everyone to stay away from Jacono. I had to spend a lot more money to have additional surgery to fix his botched mess. Choosing Jacono to operate on my face has been the biggest regret of my life. There are many wonderful doctors out there, unfortunately I couldn't find one the first time around.

Has anyone had their face done by Dr. Daniel Baker? If so with what results?

Dr. Jacono totally wrecked my face. Do not get a mid-face by this man.....He made me look like a cat and I have severe nerve damage and asymmetry.

I highly recommend Dr. Andrew Jacono. He did an amazing job on my facelift.

Luckily NYC has lots of surgeons... a mind-boggling amount of options. :)
