Hello to all you beautiful mommies out there! I'm scheduled for my TT and BA on June 28th! I'm 33 & I have two beautiful baby girls (done). I love being a mommy and a wife, but I like to be ME too! This makeover is a way for me to get that identity back, along with its confidence and sexuality. My amazing husband deserves to have all of me, not just the parts I'm not insecure to share....no more flappy skin hangovers and saggy boobs, and no more stretchmarks! I'm giddy to be getting this makeover, & I'm so excited to be a part of Realself and sharing my story.

Hi All! I am new and very excited to be here! I am scheduled for a TT, BA and hernia repair on March 21. I have two young children (7 weeks and 2.5 years) but feel that this is "the right time" for me. Anyone else scheduled for surgery around March 21?

Hello, I'm new here. I'm a mother of 3 (13, 9, and 2). I just had my first consultation last week and decided to do the Mommy Makeover. I haven't scheduled my surgery date yet due to domestic issues I need to resolved prior. How long do I need to wait to pick up my 27lbs toddler after the surgery? Any Moms with toddlers did the MMO? Thanks.

Hi! I am new here too! I have two children (2 1/2 and 7 weeks!) I am scheduled for a MM on March 21. My toddler is about 30 lbs. Not sure how long it will take for me to pick up my little ones, which is my top concern, but I am doing it now while I can. Good luck!

Hi! I'm glad I'm not alone. I wish I can do the MM earlier than July. Please keep us update with your journey. Good luck to you too :).

I have the same issue - and no family that lives nearby that I can have help. We are putting the kids in daycare for a month (I have a baby and a toddler) and just adding that to the cost of the surgery. Then my husband has agreed that he will basically be responsible for all the childcare in the evening until I am given the 'ok'.

Hi, how do I update my personal info on my profile
Petite Mom 13 Jan 2013
Hello :) I was wondering if there was a way to search for blogs from patients who went to a particular plastic surgeon. Thanks!
Angiemcc (Community Manager) 13 Jan 2013

Hi there,

You can go to that doctor's profile page on RealSelf (by typing their name into the search bar), and if they have reviews on RS the blogs/reviews will show up there.

PM me if you need assistance doing this.

I posted a post op pic and it came in upside down. After rotating and re-saving I posted again and it was still upside down. Am I able to remove pics from my review? Thanks for the help!

Were you able to figure this out, JTX?

Thank you. As of the moment I am a 34 d but i need a lift and implant. What is better saline or silicon?
Busy45Mom 8 Aug 2012
I think they involve trade offs. Silicone feels more natural and is slightly more expensive. If it leaks you don't deflate, so a,leak or rapture is harder to detect with silicone. I was a 32 b and am now a small c. I like the size but it wasn't enough to fill out the top. Listen to your surgeons opinion and go from there. They see a lot more of these and have better sense of what different implant sizes can accomplish. Hope this helps.

Hello to all:)
I am knew here. I am a mother of 4. They are 15,14,10, and 5. Its time that I fix me. I just really want to reclaim my own body and fix the battle scars that I have gotten from having my four beautiful. On 11/2/12 I am having a mommy make over minus the breast. I am going back for that in January. I look forward to meeting some mommys on here and am her for support as well as to giving support if needed.

Welcome. Good luck with both. I went a big small with my implants and plan to get them replaced. Word to the wise, anything under 300 or 350 might not do the trick as far as implants go.

Hi all. For those of you who had a c section, how does that compare recovery wise to the TT?

Thanks!

Hi,

I am going for a tummy tuck with possible breast lift and augmentation in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Anyone with information or experience a good plastic surgeon around here?

Thank you I am glad I found real self. There is alot of useful info and pics. I will be doing a tummy tuck only.
Angiemcc (Community Manager) 20 Nov 2011

Very exciting! Please keep us posted on how you feel and heal! :0)

I am in the beginning stages of getting a tummy tuck. Just made the decision. I was wondering why some of the scars are so much higher. I have had 3 c sections and want the scar to be that low. I live around temecula, ca if anyone knows a good doctor to refer as I start the interview process.
