Realistic expectations = smoother recovery process?

Ladies and Gentlemen, if you have had smart lipo done, it is going to bruise and it's gonna hurt (after). The severity of bruising depends on so many variable factors including your own susceptibility to bruising. You have had an invasive surgical procedure. Sure, there are improvements to the actual procedure/surgical instruments. I do not think it's reasonable to think you are going to have this procedure and not experience pain (after the procedure). Your body needs time to heal. Take it easy. Follow your instructions and take your medications as directed. I believe realistic expectations from the start will make for a smoother ride. I am a smart lipo patient and registered nurse. Excited to see my results. I am post op day 2. Swelling, itching, numbness...being patient. Best wishes to everyone for a speedy recovery and getting your desired results.
Thanks! I did post a review...not sure where it's at. I'm sure it's here somewhere. I'm a little over 2 weeks post procedure and things are going as expected...each day a little better and so impressed with my results already. Kathy
