Question about rigid scars

I am going to be shopping around for a PS for a tummy tuck I plan to get around May. I have been doing lots of homework on the subject however I am really concerned about several scars I have seen that almost seem to come to a rigid point.. almost looks hard and sharp? Anyone has exp. w/ this?
