I just want to if I have to stop push up or chest excercises after BA and if not when I can begin again. Thanks

I went above the muscle silicon 225 and was able to do full push-ups, handstands and all at 4 weeks. No pain after surgery, either. Just mild discomfort.

I feel that my pectoral strength is forever compromised :(

I didn't try anything outside of running for the first few months. About 3mos postop, I started Insanity, but had to modify a lot of the pushup/plank work and certainly couldn't do many of them to start... it got better pretty quickly, though.

I was told the same. I do not plan on doing chest presses, flyes, push ups, or pull overs ever again, honestly. I don't want to screw my boobs up, this was my second surgery and i don't want o go through it again for a very long time!

I'm wondering the same thing! I want to have a breast augmentation but don't want them to hold me back in strength training...

You shouldn't do any strenuous exercise for at least 6 weeks. Being pretty athletic myself, I had a hard time putting my workouts on hold after my surgery. But talk to your doctor before you get back to the tough stuff. No reason to take a chance on injury!
