*********PREOP LIST OF STUFF TO BUY**************

SKIN CARE

-Surgical bra can chafe your skin pretty bad. So either tuck a sock under the strap or use baby diaper rash cream. The one I got was : Boudreaux's All Natural Butt Paste Diaper Rash Ointment, WALMART sells it. Or Amazon. No Smell and it rubs in clear and easily :-)

SUPPLEMENTS

-Pre and Post Op Vitamins. Here are the ones I chose : [ SinEcch (Arnica Montana) Post Surgery Therapy]

-[MakeMeHeal has a pre packaged one that is pretty good so far. Make Me Heal Plastic Surgery Healing Supplements & Vitamins Kit (Pre & Post-Op Formulas)] -I also just ordered from Amazon Arnica Montana & Bromelain. ( I tend to be over-cautious) lol

SCAR CARE

-Silicone sheets in a specific size to apply to the nipple to help fade the scar . Kind of expensive. But I have heard rave reviews.

- Kelo-cote Scar Healing & Reduction Gel 20g

OTHER STUFF :-)

-Annette Seamless Breast Surgery Bra (w/ SeaKelp Micronutrients)_

-I bought some fancy surgical bra that hopefully I can wear in a few weeks. I tried it on SSSHHHHHH and it was so comfy !!!!!

- for surgery day wear something easy to zip on and pull up. I wore my Juicy Couture track suit and it worked just fine. :) -make sure you have gas in the car and directions the night before surgery. No stress!!! -procedure is about 45 mins-1 hour plus 1-2 hours recovery. So make sure the person who drives you brings something to keep them busy

-I bought soups , cases of water , coconut water, perfect food bars , fruit, and Naked juices in bulk at Costco, it really saved me when I didn't feel like bugging my boyfriend to go get me food.  Lol

- Buy baby wipes when you want to feel clean and you aren't allowed to shower yet. It really helps. I suggest using the natural care kind :)

Good luck on your surgery. Feel free to add anything I missed. I tried to make a compilation of everything I could think of.

I saw someone else posted in their review - and I TOTALLY agree - that it also helps to have bendy straws on hand. During those first few days when it's hard to sit up by yourself, it's nice to be able to take a drink while semi-reclined!
Any tips for falling asleep and staying asleep? Thanks for the list!
I bought a maternity snoogle pillow and a wedge pillow. I took zzzzzquil when I needed it. The liquid kind works amazing
Thanks I saved this page as my favorite. How was the recovery? We're u able to walk and talk like normal by the end of the surgery day?
Yeah I was trying to do too much that same day. Hahah

It's so great to read about what worked for you! Thank you for sharing!

No problem :-))
