Pre/Post Op Kits

Hello, My TT w/muscle repair & lipo surgery is scheduled for March 9th. I am very excited and trying hard to be prepared. I have a couple of questions: 1) How many of you bought pre/post op kits? Recommend or not recommend? 2) If you did buy the pre/post op kits did you buy it from your PS or did you find it less expensive on line? (I love on-line shopping) If you bought on-line can you tell me where? Thank you in advance for your insight. My pre op is on Monday and just need to know if I should be buying the kits or not.

Mynewstart, I appreciate your insight. My friend had her pre op visit three weeks before surgery and mine is only 8 days before my surgery.

I want the best results possible so am very thankful for everyone's feedback:)

I bought mine thru amazon. Cheaper and made by make me heal comany.
2 wks of pre- op vitamins and 4 to 8 wks of post op vitamins (diff combo than preop and 1 a day instead of 2 a day lasts wks) they are individual packets of diff capsules and tablets . Made from natural healing herbs. Amazon $60 I am willing to try this, cant hurt. Both preop and postop do not contain vit e. My surgeon did not recommend anything like this. Learned about it here on this site. Vit e is not helpful. Surgeon did say not to take vit e b4 surgery. Hope this helps! :)

I did purchase my pre-op Arnica Montana & Bromelian at Makemeheal.com. Then I just got the post- surgical vitamins. Got my silicon sheeting from another website per my PS's recommendation.

I scheduled my surgery with a 6 week lead time and immediately started accumulating everything. Delivery was quick.

Hi Kimmers,

My friend who has already had her pre op with her PS told me about the $200 pre/post op kit she bought. She did not state everything it included but vitamins, silcone strips etc were some of the items.

I saw there were kits on line with makemeheal.com and just wondered if it was cheaper to buy these on line.

If you have not heard of the pre and post op kits my guess is your PS did not promote these to you?
