Pre-op Question: ginger & garlic

My pre-op list of supplements NOT to take include ginger and garlic, but does that mean don't EAT these things as well? I'm going on vacation, so it will be hard to know if there is garlic or ginger in my food. Thanks.

Hi Cupcake,

Sorry to get to this so late. I see from your review that you had your surgery on April 15th. I don't know about the ginger and garlic, but I can't imagine the small amounts you'd find in food would be harmful?

You are right, the nurse said it's the concentrated amounts in pills that can be harmful.
