Post Tummy Tuck Do You Gain Weight in Different Places?

I've noticed now post TT that the few pounds I've gained and now working to take off went right to my legs rather than my stomach. Has anyone else had their weight go to different places than before the surgery? I did not have Lipo only TT with muscle repair.

I had TT and lipo of the hips, outer thighs and booty.  I have noticed that when I gain a little weight it goes right to my butt and thighs.  Never the tummy so much.  Frustrating...

I've never had a butt, maybe that's where my weight will go :) not that I plan on gaining... Seriously though I feel like my upper back is chubby these days. Like where the bra strap is, I call it bat wings and they are a flappin! It looks so much larger than Pre TT, I'm hoping it's from lack of gym! I go in for my 3 week PO tomorrow so hopefully I can start working my arms.

It's kind of a bummer because I never had big thighs before. Luckily I can wear a skirt with a belt... meanwhile, back to the gym (sigh).

Unfortunatly I have gained a few pounds(5 lbs. and 1inch around my lower waist n hipsI know exact numbers because I went to my Dr. 2/7/12) one year later I can proudly say my tummy is still flat but my Butt,thighs and arms UUUUgghh are a little bigger.As my Dr. said it's a "Lifestyle" change tt does not fix anything but our tummies! However I would never go back to a muffin top,or my pooch,it's much easier to fit into my clothes with my butt n thighs a lil snug than a belly hanging over...My husband loves it of course;-/

Thank you for sharing and asking this question. I am sooo nervous about this same thing! I am having only a tummy tuck because I do not want the after effect of weight gain in other areas. I thought just a TT would not cause that to occur, but I guess it does. So how bad is it ladies? Is it that much that you perhaps wish you hadn't done the tummy tuck? I do not want the muffin top, which is the only place I seem to have fat (and on the side of my legs), but I don't want it to start going elsewhere. My sister's body completely changed after she had lipo...and that is why I am not doing any lipo. Additional information would be appreciated. Thank you ladies.
