I found two great products which used together did the trick, both available online from Camera Ready Cosmetics, Ben Nye Bruise Cover and Keromask Camouflage Cream (this is great make up for anytime), expensive but a little goes a long way.

Hello, I empathise with you. Silicone strips are definitely the best antidote, wearing as often as possible. Creams aren't not nearly as effective but will surfise when strips are not an option.
Make-up; Linda Seidel makes a great cover-up to "help" disguise. You can google the website.

Thanks Waterfall. If the DERMABLEND isn't working for me, I'm glad to know about this alternative.

I bought Item DERMABLEND Cover Cream Creme Chroma 2 1/2 MEDIUM BEIGE off eBay. Cheaper than paying retail. I followed the directions and covered with loose face powder. This stuff works great. I used a sponge to kind of dab over it after applying. Make sure you can use an oil based concealer or any makeup for that matter as I wa supposed to wait 3 weeks (but I didn't).

Linda Seidel has a wonderful cream cover and powder to set. You can find her online or she has clinics in Maryland for person consultation (if you are in the area) The makeup is specifically for scars. Good luck.
