Picking up my baby after BL, BA and TT?

My daughter will be 7 months when i go in for my surgery (March 8th! Eek!!!). She is 17 lbs, kinda a chunk. I know a million people have asked when you can pick up your baby, but most are OLDER kids. My husband took off 3 weeks from work, so ill get help for 3 weeks, but after that... I'm kinda on my own. Any advice? Anyone been through this? I think this is one of the MAIN things I'm worried about....
I have a 15 month old. He weighs about 29-30 pds. I put him in daycare for three months full time. It sucks cos i miss him. My hubby or daughters bring him to me and thas the only way i kiss him. Cos I don't plan on picking him up until my third month. I can only imagine the excruciating pain. I don't want to jeopardize my TT or BL and have it done again. I hope you find help. Best wishes.
