Looking for a little peace of mind before my surgery...

After hard research, I've finally found a brilliant plastic surgeon in Bluffton, SC, since my appointment, I have set my surgery datein Sept for a mommy makeover (tummy tuck, waist/flanks/inner thigh lipo, and lift). I'm just looking for some pre-op or post-op advice from others for a little peace of mind, and maybe a few words of comfort? I think the hardest thing will be deciding on the right live-in caretaker/relative to care for my son during my 6-week recovery. Wish me luck. Thanks.

How exciting for you! If you get a chance, read JenBob's 10 Things I Wish I'd Known Before A Mommy Makeover. It has lots of good info! She's funny too.

Hey there.
Im scheduled for 9/14, and anxious is an understatment. I am a bit concerned, because I only have help for 8 days after surgery.

Wow, only 8 days? Do your best to care of yourself and follow ps instructions -If you have small children, you must refrain from any lifting for 4-6 weeks. I wish the best for you. Post your post-ops.

I don't have little ones. I do have 16 and 17 year old boys, that will be in school all day. Im returning to work 14 days after my surgery. It is just a TT, not any additional procedures.

Thanks for posting. I am finding some relief reading the forums. My surgery is August 29th. tummy tuck and breast reduction. I think my biggest fear is the pain afterwards. Please keep us posted on your experience.
