I had a car accident a couple pof years ago. And the settlement was almost exactly the cost of the surgery ! I havent done much for myself over the years. Im always doing for other people. Doing this for just me is def. making me feel a little guilty. At first my boyfriend didnt want me to do it. But once he saw the excitement on my face the day I made the appointment hes all in now ! :) Hes very happy Im finally doing something simply just for me.

I sold my apartment to buy a new one together with my boyfriend, used some of the profit I made to pay my TT in full.

I financed the surgeon's fee with Care Credit and I got a year to pay it off with no interest (just make sure you pay it off in time, or else you will get hit with back interest, and A LOT of it). I paid cash for the anesthesia and surgical suite fee. I don't know how it is with everybody else, but I had to pay those three things separately.

Took out a personal loan and saved.

I saved for over a year. Then I opened up a zero percent interest credit card with 100 signing bonus & put it on that. I put the majority of it on that, got points & cash back. I owe about 1000

Anyone feel guilty about the money. Do you feel pressure to keep weight off? Do you have to think about everything you eat. Do you work- out more or less now I have been wanting to do this for more then 5 years but the pressure and guilt to keep weight down witch i do anyway but then feel like i look like crap anyway so why work so hard i think it could even stabilize my weight but i cant stop the thought of feeling selfish spending the money.i have gained and lost more then 100 pounds biggest loss was 60 then i get frustrated with appearance and gain 5 then loose 5 gain 10 loose 15 so on and so on this cant be healthy and mentally im in a bad place over it i have now lost 20 and am under my goal weight 130 im around 125 i have never weighed so little not even in high school so its perfect time to do it i went to a surgeon in midlothian i liked him but just couldn't commit to the money i would have booked that day and would be done with it by now but just cant bring myself to do it i would need an equity line of credit which is not so bad my husband say do it (keeper) hes been saying do it but i just cant feewww sorry for the long long comment

justworkinout1...Know the guilt of spending that kind of money on myself, as we have 4 kids that we could easily use it for them, thank goodness the hubby is very supportive and knows how bad I what to feel like me again minus the extra skin,lol...happy mom happy family, lol

I wanted to do this for 20 years. I've been saving for a while and I knew it would eventually happen. I had the money for several years but fear kept me back .... BOY do I wish I had just gotten it done! I feel you on the weight loss yo yo it's all I've done but that's a thing of the past! I promised myself I'd keep the weight until this year and then just get it done! WOoooo Hoooooo I don't feel any more pressure than I did before ( to keep the weight off) that will always be there when you have struggled with weight ... get your head in a good space, be sure of what you want and if this is it then GO for it!!! ;)

Partially from a signing bonus from my job and the rest on a loan from hubby's 401k. He's a keeper!

I'm doing a 401K loan, too! No idea you could do that! I went home from the consult knowing I would never be able to do this. I did my boobs with extra money from a refinance of our house. That will never happen with interest rates now, so I thought I was out of luck. Stopped at the store on the way home and saw a text from hubby saying we could get a 401K loan. Another keeper!
