bonus from work -saved for two years ... but .. I put it on a credit card for the 'points' and then paid it off. That way, I get some 'free stuff'!

Cash to secure my surgery date ($1,000) and Care Credit for the rest. I just paid off my car and will now pay Care Credit with what would have been my car payment. I didn't plan it this way, but I'm glad it worked out for me.

I paid with care credit. No interest for a year. My TT was $10K and I paid on it all year but I had $4350 left this month which is my year anniversary, August 2nd! We had to put it on our line of credit but it was still worth the financial burden to say the least. If I could do it over I would have saved up like some of the others. That way it wouldn't have been such a large amount.

I paid cash. I felt like a drug dealer with all the bundles of $20's, but it was all our base finance office had, LOL.

About half my procedure was covered by insurance since the repair of the hernia was medically necessary. Fortunately that covered the hospital stay and a portion of the surgical fees. The aesthetic portion (including the diastasis recti repair) I had to cover.

At 38 I borrowed off my retirement and will pay for it in 5 years. All the interest will just go back into my retirement so $6,615 well spent.

Will initially put on my credit card for points, but will pay it off when I get the bill. I've been saving money for a few years, so my husband isn't complaining about the cost.

I used Care Credit and hope to pay it off with Christmas bonus. My surgery was $8,000 for just the tummy tuck no lipo. This was in Texas. I'm paying the minimum payment for now. Worth every penny!

I paid my deposit with carecredit and I'll have to pay the balance at my pre-op (11/15/11) which will be part cash and the rest on mastercard. My TT is scheduled for 12/15/11--can't wait:-)

We saved up. put cash in a shoe box, for real, until we had enough. I then brought 8000 in cash to my doctors to pay. they were like, ummm we can't take cash. so i then went to the grocery store down the street to get money orders. they only do them in $500 so i had to get a lot. man that was a hilarious day.

It does sound right. I had a tt, lipo of flanks, and implant exchange. I paid just under $22,000. I worked a lot of overtime and saved up for over a year. I'm happy to report that I paid cash and it felt amazing. This is hands down the best thing that I've ever done myself. My self esteem has been restored. I love my new body! Good luck to you!!
