Has anyone that has had a panniculectomy been unhappy with "muffin top"/roundness?

I had a modified tummy tuck which is what my ps called it, they removed the bottom apron (panniculectomy) but redid my belly button. The top part of my belly is still flabby and I am very round just above where my stitches are. I am 14 days post-op today. I was never round in the belly before (if you look at my before pics) and now it looks like a ball or early pregnancy belly. Could it just be swelling still? I don't know where to have my pants come up to because it makes the roundness more noticeable!!

I had a panni on 5/20/2014 and I have a muffin top. Will the ever go away?

Not sure if it'll go away yet since I had my surgery only a week after you. I'm heavier above the belly button. It's weird. I look as if I'm pregnant with how my belly looks. Also my love handles look big.

My surgeon keeps telling me it will go away, it can take 6 months to a year. I think something is wrong, I have been like this since 6/3/2014 and the swelling hasn't went down at all. I'm going my surgeon this morning when his office opens. I just want to know if anyone else has experience what we're going through and will the swelling ever go away?

I had panni done on 5/20/2014, it looks I have a muffin top. The doctor said it can take 6 months to a year, before the swelling goes down. I got an infection and is being treated with antibiotics. I'm just so scared the swelling will never go away. My stomach was never heavy at the top, so I thought after the panni that my stomach would be much flater. Does anyone know if this muffin top will ever go away?

Did your muffin top go away? Was it swelling? I am 9 days post op and have some muffin top but had a fleur de lis panni with a new belly button. I am a bit round but all the nurses and doctors I've seen have said I have a good amount of swelling. Just curious how long it'll last. Either way this surgery was worth it.
