Painful hernia and tummy tuck?

I have 3 children. I developed a hernia with my second pregnancy tho not painful. I just had the 3rd child and its extremely painful do do anything. Its on my bellybutton. I have been to three doctors and all say I have diastatis. The last surgeon I saw will do both the hernia repair and suggested a tummy tuck. My husband keeps asking if they can just repair the abdominal wall without cutting the skin making it a tummy tuck? I was under the impression that its only one surgery to do all of it. Is this even possible?

I am also having my umbilical hernia, muscle repair and tummy tuck done on Dec 13 I am nervous but if im going to go through the pain I might as well do it all at once and I am a mother of 5. To my understanding it is all one surgery

I just had a umbilical hernia repair, muscle repair and tummy tuck at the beginning of August. My recommendation is that if you are going to endure the pain of getting a hernia repair you might as well do it all at once. The first two weeks post surgery are not exciting, but you will be so happy you did it after that. My hernia was not painful either, but it turned out to be 3 times larger than anticipated once the doctor started the repair. I would highly recommend going to a great plastic surgeon to get all of it done rather than a general surgeon.
