Pain when without compression garment after tummy tuck

I am 5 weeks post op from a tummy tuck and when I take a break from my compression garment for a couple of hours so I can wear jeans my belly button hurts really bad that I have to rewrap my compression garment very tight again.
I thought by 5 weeks I would be getting closer to going without it. Should I be alarmed by this pain?
