Pain Ball?!?!?!? anyone had one and if so... how was it?

when i went in for my consult, the PS said i would need 2 drains and a pain ball.  i don't mind the pain ball... but how much is this going to help me?... i don't want another incision if it's just going to take a tad off the pain... to me a little incision isn't worth a tad off the pain....
