I'm having my TT/lipo of flanks/BL/BA with Dr. Alkon this week. I will be posting after pictures once I can. I consulted with three doctors in the area and I liked him the best. He took the time to answer all my questions and was very informative and honest with me. Can't wait to get this done and see how it turns out!

Day 3 post-op. I have to say the Dr. Alkon is a great surgeon. The nurses at the hospital had wonderful things to say about him. He talked very highly about the team he has in the operating theatre. I would recommend him 100%. He also has a fixed price with no hidden costs. I had seen 2 other surgeons for consultations and they all had hidden costs and wanted about $12,000 for the TT (that price did not include lipo of the flanks). Dr. Alkon has his prices fixed on his website. They include surgery, pre-op testing, hospital stay, garment, follow up visits for one year. The nurses at the hospital said that he is not just a plastic surgeon but an artist. He is worth the 4 hour drive I make from my house to his practice.

@jewel353 Yes my date is next month. I still have a few things on my list to buy. So how did you know you had to get hernia repair?? And why couldn't you Get it at the time of your surgery?

I live in NY ans
D my insurance just covers me for NY based surgeons. Dr. Alkon will not do a hernia repair, he usually brings in a local surgeon and the operate at the same time. Most insurances pay for the general surgeon and you still pay for the plastic surgeon. Because the surgeries could not be done together I had to wait for my umbilical hernia to heal so that it would not compromise my belly button during the TT. Dr. Alkon was the one that spotted the hernia at my consultation.

I am going to CVS tomorrow and I am going to get bacitracin, non-sick gauze and Bio-oil. I have a compression garment from Veronique that I will use a few weeks down the road. I also have spanks for the last stage of compression garments. Pity we are no there together. It would have been nice to know someone in advance. We can keep each other up to date on this website. Good luck :)

Iam28. My surgery is this Thursday. I just notice in earlier posting that yours is in a month. What a long weight. I just booked mine last week. I has seen Dr. Alkon in March but I needed to have a hernia repair. Got that done in April. My insurance only covers NY so I could not get the hernia repair at the same time. My time has come at last.

Hi, did you get to do the surgery and how do you feel

Hi fashion8, I had a tt, lipo and minor bbl almost 6 months ago and I feel great. The pain for the first few days is intense but with the pain killers it's managable. The most bothersome are the draining tubes. Once those are removed and you can shower you feel 200% better.
