There are so many products out there to take oil off your face, but have you ever thought instead of taking oil off your face, actually adding more? Ssupposedly by adding more oil the oil on oil action, actually dissolves itself? Would you or have you tried it?

By giving your skin the oil it needs your skin comes out of panic mode and normalizes its oil production, it stops the overproduction of oil and therefore the clogged pores and inflammation are also stopped. This method may sound funny because some people are only familiar with using olive oil in their cooking or on their salads but since Roman times, the ancient Romans and Egyptians have used olive oil as a powerful moisturizer and to treat and heal damaged skin/wounds. There’s a bible story, the story of the Good Samaritan and it tells about how a man was injured and left for dead but a Samaritan came along and helped him and he dressed the injured man’s wounds by pouring on oil and wine to disinfectant, to cleanse and to heal the man’s wounds. I talk more about it in a radio interview I did but basically yes, olive oil is really, really wonderful and does great stuff for your skin.

I actually prefer a combination of water soluble and oil soluble ingredients in my cleanser. And I definitely avoid anything with sulfates.

Don't try it before doing much more research. I've read some pretty bad things about it. I personally would NEVER try it. Too many horror stories!

Olive oil is the best skin cleanser any one can use. I have over 50 years Beauty salon experience and now write books for the industry. It is important to remove the oil with a warm wet face cloth. Then tone with a mild toner.

I have tried the OCM and it actually does wonders. Not only is there an improvement in the texture of my skin but I have less breakouts. Never knew that using oil instead of oil-free cleansers could accomplish this.

Really?! I have heard about this method, but being that I battle acne and have been trained over the years to only use oil free products I am FREAKED out to try it! I'm so glad to hear it worked well for you.
