NYC Revision Rhinoplasty + Primary Septoplasty $16,000?!

30 min $250 consult w/ Dr. Pearlman. He est 3 hour surgery for $16,000. Good OR plan. addressed most concerns but didn't address dent on my bridge even though I insisted. consult rushed. i asked questions, he actually checked his watch (after keeping me waiting 15 min). Last doc rushed and didnt listen to me. Scared of another bad result. I intended to get other opinions. At these prices am I just wasting my time? Are other states cheaper? toriumi in Chicago or gunther/cochran in Dallas?

Considering that the average rhinoplasty cost is $6,100 (see above), $16,000 sounds pricey. Then again, we're talking about NYC. It doesn't sound like you were happy with your consultation. I would keep looking until you find someone you feel good about.
