November Breast Reduction Check-In...
By CrownofHisGlory on 06 Oct 2011
Ladies, for those of you that have had your surgeries, I pray you are having speedy recovery; and for those of you who have yet to have your BRs, our time is coming. I just wanted to catch up with other November BR ladies. If anyone else has any tips, questions, etc..., please share. Thanks!
I had my reduction 22 November and am still very tired. At work 5 hours a day 5 days a week after 2 weeks off. Before surgery I was going to the gym 1 hour 5 days a week, but am struggling to manage 3 x 45 min a wee. Anyone else still struggling with low energy levels? I'm 5 weeks postop now and whilst better than I was thought I'd be back to normal by now.
I'd maybe cut back even further on gym time now, and maybe do something less intense - short walks, etc.
Two things that have helped me are iron supplement pills (though I hate to take them) and eating tons of protein. If I'm feeling really tired, usually a boost of protein helps somewhat.
There's a lot of blood loss associated with the surgery, and anesthesia takes forever to get out of your system (and it takes some people longer than others to metabolize it). Take good care and rest as much as you can. You won't always feel this tired, even if it seems like it.
I know...it's almost hard to believe and wrap your brain around. It's amazing! After you get the first good look you will have to let me know what you think.
Thank you for the update! I am glad you are doing well so now just rest. And wow he was able to remove a lot!
You do want a little bit of compression in the bra. Double check on the JCP site because when I ordered I thought for sure they sold bigger sizes as well.
I decided to buy one of these bras and I have to say I love it!! So comfy and pretty. Wish I would have found these when my boobies were so big pre op.
Give it a try and it you don't like it JCP does total refunds.
