You're a handsome guy, but I think that if your nose really bothers you, getting it fixed when you're young (but finished growing) is just fine. Just make sure you do your homework and choose a doctor who specializes in rhinoplasty, is board certified and has a lot of good before and after photos to show you. Rhinoplasty is a very intricate procedure and you want to go with someone who knows what he or she is doing!

Please let us know what you decide.

I almost got a rhinoplasty when I was 18 as well. I'm getting mine May 18 of this year and am 21. I'm glad I waited, being in high school some of your reasons may be to appeal to your peers (as mine were when I was debating getting it done), so it may be best to wait and decide later.

As for the cost, reading some posts from doctors on here, it REALLY depends on your location. And as a tip, I wouldn't confine yourself to a price limit, finding a good surgeon is better than saving a couple hundred dollars (waiting a little longer could give you the opportunity to save a little bit more too!)

Also, if YOU are the one who is uncomfortable with your nose...that's a valid reason to get a rhinoplasty. Don't concern yourself with other people's opinions.
