Is it normal to have puppy/dog ears after a tummy tuck?

My Doc gave me puppy ears, he calls it. Is this normal at times w/ a tummy tuck? How painfull is this to get fixed & how is it fixed? Also, Should I be responsible for the cost to have this fixed?

It's estimated that about 20 percent of women end up with dog ears after a tummy tuck. Correcting them can be done with liposuction and/or incisions, usually under local anesthesia. I can't imagine the pain would be anywhere near what you went through with the tummy tuck. But I don't know about the costs. Seems like your surgeon should cover revisions.
