new and would like some friends

Hi I am new here. I am 32, I have 3 kids first was a c-s and other two were V-backs... 3 years ago I thought it was time to take my body back..I have lost 70 and maintained it. I want to go into this surgery strong so I will hit it hard till than. my TT is on march 18th. I am a little worried about all this talk about slow healing...but know I can get through it.. I hope to meet a few friends on here as I go through the pain...

Welcome! I had my tt and Breast lift 3 months ago. I thought my recovery went fairly well, but having said that, I am still recovering. It takes a long time to get completely back to normal. I had very little pain, only needed pain pills the first day. I was able to move around with relative ease and did a lot of walking within a week after. Swelling is still there, more at times than others and ad "discomfort" and weakness is still there but these are things I know will go away eventually and I don't fret about them. EVERYTHING has been worth it. My advice is to be in the best shape you can be in prior to surgery as well as being healthy. It will speed up recovery and make it easier for you. I research everything to death so I knew exactly what the worst could be in terms of recovery but I was determined mine was going to be easy. And it was for the most part. Go in with a positive attitude and it will help as well. Good luck and I know you'll love your results! I'm 48 and going to wear a bikini for the first time in 23 years on our holiday next month! After having kids, I had an extra 100 pounds that accumulated and wouldn't go away easily! I lost that 2 years ago and then needed ps to do the final tweaking.

Im having my March 4th .. I am sooo excited but - at the same time nervous .. you read these posts and alot are inspirational and i hope for the same results but then you do have some who have had bad experiences and those ones scare me .. hope all goes well for you ..

It is a slow recovery but you seem to get used to it. Also the first few days are really hard but just like childbirth you forget after a while I am 3 weeks out and almost feel normal except the nightly swelling. Everyday is better and everyday you look better. It is totally worth all the discomfort!

It is frustrating at times.....but in all honestly it is absolutely not worse than a c section. Congrats on losing weight and maintaining it! Who is doing your surgery ?
