OK so let's be honest, I did binge the week before I  started my pre-op diet so that may be a factor. But I am like 4 pounds more than I was when I started my gastric sleeve process back in May. I'm worried by doctor is going to thing I was cheating or anything. AND I started my period so I'm feeling bloated....is this just all bad timing????

Make sure you take lots of before pictures and post them. It's so much fun to see the before & after pictures. Can you tell us more, maybe your beginning weight, etc. We're all in the same boat so there's nothing to be shy about on this site.

HI. I am 205lbs right now and im 5'7. People are giving me a hard time about the surgery because they say i dont look "obese".I had a car wreck in 2009 which left one of my legs almost 3 inches shorter than the other( plus 26 other surgeries to correct injuries). SO im 5'4 on my right leg. I am having my surgery on 8/22 and SO EXCITED! I haven't been overweight my whole life, but the last 5 years have been very difficult with the weight gain. My injuries prevent me from strenuous exercise.

I can agree that it would be hard for you to exercise with the 3" difference in your legs. This is your life and if you want to look & feel good about yourself you should be able to do that. I'm excited for you since your surgery is soooo soon. Sure wish I was joining you on that date since I'm soooo ready but still have to do internalist, psch & Dr visit next week. Keep us posted, will be excited to see pics soon.

It is normal.Once you have surgery will be fine.I was lucky was not required to lose before just to be care the 2 days before lean meat ane veggies.Oh trust me pizza went in this belly lol. I am 9 months post op and 84 pounds less size 20 to a 12. It all falls in place after you get used to how much your belly tells you after .Good luck and dont worry

I did the same thing! Stick to the diet, you'll be ok. I was down 15+ by the day before surgery. You can do it!
