What should my aftercare regime be

Hi Its been two weeks since my surgery.  I have just had the tapes taken off and at the moment I am quite horrified with the results.  I don't see the consultant again until Monday.  I have been reading on here various suggestions of what you should be doing to look after the skin/eyes post surgery such as massage etc.  My hosp has given me no information about this apart from putting the drops in my eyes. What should I be massaging, how and what with - should I be using any oils.  Are the eye drops the only thing I should be putting in my eyes or is there an ointment I should be using when I go to bed. Any information would be great. Thanks
