Is anyone else getting multiple procedures at one time??

By Happygirl30 on 28 Apr 2011

My pre-op is May 3rd and I am so anxious and nervous! I'm getting a full TT with liposuction of my back, flanks, inner thighs and alittle around the knees. I'm also getting high profile breast implants(no lift). I'm already my ideal weight and my PS is one of the Top , most respected Plastic surgeons in Houston, Tx and he told me not to worry because he does multiple procedures all the time...but I'm still nervous! He said that I'm not a severe case. Also I'm pretty healthy, I exercise regularly, I eat fairly healthy, I am not over weight for my height but I've never had major surgery before! I know that this is exactly what I want but how can I just calm down and relax????

Here's what some doctors have to say about getting multiple procedures at once. I've seen  many women on RealSelf who are getting this same combination of surgeries. If you get a chance, read through the Mommy Makeover Reviews and you'll see lots of firsthand experiences with TT, Lipo and breast augmentation.

I had lipo of hips outter thighs, and muffin top. Full tt and breast Aug. I was in surgery for just over 8hrs. I'm defiantly sore but glad I got it all over at once.

Hi, I am scheduled for a 6hr surgery for my nose Sept 12th. I saw that your surgery was 8hrs. I am having anxiety with the thought of being under general for 6hours. Were you scared? How did you feel after?

I had FTT, BL, BA, MR and a little lipo near my rib cage (she decided my flanks were good). U are getting a little more, so expect more soreness, but it's possible. Just make sure you have everything you need and a great support system to help you.

Depending on your pain tolerance, you may just feel like you went through extreme bootcamp. I felt like i did 1000 chest flies and push ups and 1000 sit ups LOL.

I have a full TT lipo of the flanks and breast implants. I am 12 days out and feeling pretty good, it really isn't all that bad pain wise, just more sore than anything. I will tell you that the most sore places on me are where they did the lipo. Just make sure that you get enough rest, everyone says that but it really is the best advise. If you are like most women you are going to feel really good and then you are gonna overdo it. I swore that I wouldn't do that, yeah right. I did and let me tell you, your body will let you know that you have overdone it and you'll need a couple of days to recuperate from that! But other than that, I think that you are going to be just fine getting all of it done at once. Look at it like this, at least you are only going to have to be down once! Good luck with everything!

I had a full tummy tuck, arm lift, and breast lift with 750cc implants and to be honest, the breasts are the most sore of it all!! The rest is a breeze! Except of course, the drains from the TT
