I am 10 weeks PO, it seems I still have a small muffin top when Im sitting, I also had Upper Lippo of my abdomen to make sure this would absolutely not happen ! I just dont feel excited about my TT right now, also I have a lot of scar tissue along my scar line almost in the middle it feels like a golf ball, PS says to massage and if we need to he'll do some kind of revision, anyone else have this? I am 5'6" and weigh 150 right now ,up 5 lbs from day of surgery, maybe that will help, thanks for your help and advise :)

I am 6 weeks PO from full tummy tuck and now I ave a huge muffin top hanging down across the entire stomach. Can lip be done to get rid of that and should I have to pay for it? Thank you.

I know I am almost 11 weeks post op and I still have what I believe and hope to be lower abdominal swelling so when I sit I have a slight muffing top. It hasn't changed much at all over the past several weeks so I am freaking out about it. I want it flat as a pancake! LOL! Strange connection but getting the tummy tuck is like getting a new tattoo. I stare at it, look at it all the time and overobsess about it healing and making sure it is going to look perfect in the end. I can't wait until I am healing and I don't have to obsess any more!

I'm 3 weeks and 2 days post-op and have the same little overlap when I sit. I'm not too bothered by it (sure its just swelling) because it only overlaps a finger width rather that the hand and a half it covered before my surgery lol!

I am 3 weeks post op and from what I have read that is normal. That is the last place that swelling goes down and it could be months before it goes away. As the incision heals it will flatten as well. Overall end results sometimes aren't seen for a full year. I am not patient so it is hard for me but knowing it can take a full year for the best results makes me feel better.

Hi. I was wondering how everything looks now that 4 months have passed after your post. I'm day 5 post-op and there's an overlap right above the incision when I'm sitting, I'm not sure if it's due to swelling or if this is how it will stay. Any feedback would help. I will see the PS tomorrow and would love to hear from you before my appt! This is really upsetting me, but I'm trying to stay calm and hope this will go away with time! Thanks :)

HAHA Tbacer, you are hilarous.  I know someone that this happened to as well.  Maybe exercise will take it away, working on back and side exercises?  If that doesn't work, maybe lipo again in the future?.... :(  I think what happens is when the tummy is tucked the fat pushes up sometimes.  I'm sure there's a way to get rid of it but I would wait until you are properly healed.  From what I have read on the site, it takes months so don't be too stressed with your results right now.  Everything needs to settle still and then you can go from there.

Oh my gosh! You have described my recovery exactly. I am 9 weeks PO. I have gained 5 lbs and cannot seem to lose it no matter what I do, even though I have gone back to my pre-surgery exercise routine (which was intense) and I meticulously watch everything I eat. Also, while better than before, my stomach is hardly flat. I just don't know what to think. I am starting to think this was a mistake.

I'm 7 weeks PO, have a huge muffin top that is firm and sort of sponge-like when I touch it. I am up 5 lbs since the t.t. I've read that lipo can help - I hope I don't have to pay for it!
