5 months post op / FTT. As the day goes on, the area right above my belly button bulges out, is this normal?

Some mornings my stomach is really flat. As the day progresses I get a noticeable bulge in my upper abdomen. If I suck in really hard it gets flat again. Is this normal swelling? Still hurts to do sit ups in the belly button area as well. My plastic surgeon says that sit ups should flatten it.

I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. I know that at this point you just want your tummy to be flatter than flat.
