SO ITCHY!! What are you guys doing (one month PO) about your itchy skin?? I remember hearing you shouldn't put anything on your scars....but has anyone used lotion AROUND them? My whole chest is itchy and peeling. I want so bad to cover myself in lotion!! AHH!

I've been putting triple antibiotic ointment on my scars twice a day. I wonder if you could put pain relieving neosporin on them or benadryl cream to help with the itch.

Thanks! I'll try the neosporin, see if that helps!

My Dr said no cream but advised taking a Benadryl tablet. I only had 2 itchy days

Hi ladies! Here's a question for the group: how are your new boobs progressing? Would love to hear your experiences. The swelling is going down on mine (so now it's less of a porno/engorged look) and they're dropping and softening a bit, but they still look overly round, especially toward the armpits. I'm 5 wks PO tomorrow and I know, I know, they say 3 months is the minimum time to see the most significant changes, but I really hope they go down a bit more. I have 235 cc moderate profile Sientra silicone implants and had an anchor lift too.

I'm 3 1/2 weeks PO, I had a lift and aug too. Mine have dropped, and I too have a fullness in the armpit area. I'm actually missing the frontal fullness I had at 1st and really hope they don't go any lower.

I'm almost 6 weeks post-op and I LOVE the way mine look! I don't want mine to change at all! I don't want them to drop any more. It might be nice if they moved closer together but I don't think that's going to happen just because of my anatomy according to what my doctor had told me. Mine are Sientra Silicone 435 ccs. You can look at my profile for my most recent photo. It was taken a week ago - 5 weeks post-op. Hope this helps!

I have 350 cc moderate profile silicone implants too and mine have dropped some and calmed down and I'm hoping they don't get any smaller. I love the size they are right now and wondering if I should have gone a little bigger. Have you been fitted for a bra yet? I haven't so I'm curious.

Hi, I love my right boob best! Lol. Seriously though... my left breast dropped and feels like a real breast, and my right one is still a little more firm and hasn't dropped as much as the left one. So its a bit higher and firmer so yeah... But besides that they're healing properly, and I really can't complain ;-)

I bought three after trying them on, but I didn't get fitted. I think I need to go back, they seemed to be the right size when I bought them, but now two feel like they are smooshing the girls. My PS days no bras that lift right now, just ones that provide good support.

I'm a 36D in some bras and a 38D in others. Victoria's Secret measurements...

I had surgery June 10th. Mine are softening and settling into their final position but are still high and perky which I kind of like. I have noticed they will soften and then firm back up which I find interesting. Also one may appear larger one day then the other. Mine are also very round. I keep massaging them daily. I do not have fullness in the armpit area however. I would have liked them a little closer together but a good bra can do that for me.

That darn boob greed! Got me too, but mine can vary from day to day. My PS said they look great today, and to be honest-they do!! I just used to the holy-swolly-guacamole look and now it's time to be realistic.

How often do you wear your CG? I wear mine all day everyday, and sometimes the binder too. Just wondering if we can go without it for a while, or maybe just at night even? It would be nice to sleep without it! I feel I will still need it during the day when I am active for a while.

I wear my binder all day and night except when I work out. That's all I wear though. I mean, I wear clothes - lol - but no extra compression garment.

I walked for the first 2 weeks, then was cleared to do stationary cardio, but still can't ride my bicycle, jog, or lift over 10 pounds, so when I do strength training, I just do 10 pounds and I have a stair step and stationary bicycle. I still don't feel like doing a lot of jumping around.

Hey, ThatlilLady, have you had any probs with stitches coming to the surface? I thought I was golden, then noticed a little spot opening up below my right nipple. I sent a pic to my PS's nurse and she said I was "spitting a stitch" and they'd need to remove it. Lovely!
  • Reply
Oh ok.. Well that makes more sense @ kracker I'm just walking and doing little things around the house I will try doing light strength training. Duh I didn't think of that lol.

Hi kracker, I haven't had any problems with my stitches, but on my nipple I did notice a tiny hole? My ps didn't worry to much. Spitting a stitch? Hmmm I'll have to look that up, never heard of it.
  • Reply
Ok.... I looked up on it. It's normal, depending on your scar you may need to get scar revision done? If it's not too bad, then they'll probably just pull the stitch out. Thank you for sharing that, even though frustrating, I didn't know this could happen.

I have a tiny hole, too, but it has a little white plastic stitch working its way out. She said that sometimes the body rejects some of the dissolving stitches. It's not bad, just disconcerting. At least it doesn't look red, swollen or infected.
